Step List - dynamic

  • Step 1

If a loved one dies at home, in hospital or abroad we can help guide on the start of the process of arranging a funeral, those initial first steps including contacting doctor, hospital or in country abroad (including area where death has occurred) and what will happen next

  • Step 2

We make arrangements to bring a loved one into our care from home, hospital and from abroad where we care for a deceased in our modern up to date facilities until the day of the funeral.

  • Step 3

A death is now registered before a funeral day, date and time can be put in place. If death occurs in Scotland, must be registered in Scotland.

More details can be found on your local authority website.

  • Step 4

We are able to organise anything in connection with a funeral, taking away a lot of the pressure and strain from a family during this difficult time.

  • Step 5

Once the funeral has taken place there are other factors which need attention including dealing with any insurances, funeral account, payments from the social fund as well as looking for advice on further support in coping with bereavement.
